About me and my practice

I work with adults with all kinds of psychological distress who are in an unwelcome place and want help to move on or to understand and connect more fully with themselves and others. This includes those struggling with anxiety, depression, loss of any kind and trauma.

I provide a confidential therapeutic space, tailored for you, to explore and to work through what you are struggling with, to process your thoughts and emotions. Having this support, being heard and believed, can be a huge relief as well as supporting you in moving forward.

As a part of the process of working through your current concerns with me, we are likely to consider things that you experienced in the past. This helps in understanding yourself and ways of being as well as in shedding light on what is going on for you and supporting you in living more freely now.

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling. Experience

I am a BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Counsellor with a number of years of experience of working in Private Practice,in Community Counselling organisations in Tunbridge Wells and Horsham, and for an online EAP service supporting adults working through their psychological struggles.

I have previously worked in industry, education and the charity sector both overseas and in the UK.

Initial Consultation

I offer a free introductory twenty-minute telephone or video-conferencing call to help work out if we are a good fit and to answer any questions you may have. After that, we can arrange a first consultation session to find out more and decide together what meets your needs best at this time.

I offer long-term open-ended counselling and short-term (6-12 sessions). Please send me an e-mail if you are interested in finding out more.

Fees

Introductory call (20 mins): free
Initial consultation (50 mins): £60
Ongoing weekly counselling (50m mins): £60/session payable weekly or monthly

When I Work

I work online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at different times of day and on Thursday and Friday mornings.

Therapeutic Approach

I trained as a Psychodynamic Counsellor. In my work, I also integrate other approaches as needed.
